1. My statement of personal aims:
Think about your contribution to the event and answer the following questions.
a) What do you want to achieve through your contribution (performance or compositions)? E.g. improve my confidence with performance by….. develop my skills with…… develop my collaboration skills by….. (You can write as many realistic and achievable goals as you like here. I have started the sentence for you below but feel free to change it if you wish).

i can change from high to low notes quickly
c) How will you know if you have achieved it?

i will have self confidence that my performance would be okay and i will practice as much as possible to make sure that my performance will not have any glitches
i will have self confidence that my performance would be okay and i will practice as much as possible to make sure that my performance will not have any glitches
d) How will you meet the expectations of the audience? E.g. will you find out what the audience would like to hear? If so how? Consider repertoire, quality, length, stage presence etc.
i will meet the audiences preferences by making sure the songs are not inappropriate and are family friendly so they know i do not want to upset anyone with any songs about drugs or sex.
2. Plan of my contribution to the performance
i plan to give the audience a good time and show people what i am really capable of with my voice.
a) What are the requirements of the brief and how will you meet them? Put the brief into your own words and explain how you will meet what it is asking for.
in my words the brief tells me that i need to get 3-4 songs together that are appropriate for family gatherings for the parents and governors of our school. i must also create a programme/brochure of why my performance is suitable for families.

b) What do you intend to do? E.g. I intend to perform on……… I will play the following songs………… First I will play………. It will be a good opening song because…….. This will be a solo/ ensemble? Etc.
i intend to perform on stage i will sing:
lego house,
faded,
starving,
stiches
i feel that lego house would be a good starting song because it gets everyones spirit up. this performance will be a solo the entire time.

c) How will you do it? E.g. rehearsals, work with tutor, record self and listen back to it, dress rehearsal (week before) etc.
i will do it by practicing with the lyrics in the song to learn the notes then going onto a backing track to record and then listen back to to see what i need to do to make it sound better
d) Who will you need to involve?
i dont think i will need to involve anyone as it is a solo i wont need to practice with anyone.
e) What resources will you need?
i will need access to youtube for backing tracks and music and a recording device, i will also need access to the internet to get the lyrics
f) What time is needed for each song/ activity (e.g. dress rehearsal/ recording)?
i would need 5 minutes between each song to have a drink and restore my voice before i could perform again if not i think i would either mess up during or i would lose my voice.
g) What are the health and safety issues for rehearsals and the performances (think of noise levels, cables, audience, working with others)
for singing i have to make sure i don't trip on the wires and the sound.
Now type up neatly and clearly your set list for the programme. Make sure it includes full titles of songs, original artists and the names of anyone you will perform it with.
My set list:
lego house - ed sheeran
faded - alan walker
starving - hailee steinfield grey
faded - alan walker
starving - hailee steinfield grey
stitches - shaun Mendes
Style and Image:
Describe your style and image for the event. Make sure you justify your choices (is it appropriate for the audience?)
my style and image would be romance and i dont really think i would have an image i guess i would have to let the audience choose that.
Ideas for the performance:
How will you make sure it runs smoothly, organisation, anything extra you need and how will you get it?
i feel that i would need an extra person in the middle of my performance if i could do two songs at a time i would get a performer in the middle of the songs to i could take a break. i feel like i could get it to run smoothly if i have someone doing the backing tracks who knows my set up.
Staging and equipment needs:
microphone,
microphone stand.
microphone stand.
What equipment do you need and why?
i need a microphone so all of the audience can hear me.
What are the staging requirements? E.g. space needed, placement of equipment etc.
i would need some space on the stage from the begging to where i would be so i would have some space to walk/pace
Rehearsal Schedule
These are your rehearsal dates in class time (you may add 10 more hours of personal preparation time in but this must be in your own time).
Next to each date write down what you plan to achieve – you can change this as you go along if you need to but write it out now.

- When you get peer or teacher feedback you must type this on to you blog.
- All evidence must be on your blog.
